It all started when Mike Buechel had a happenchance encounter with plant manager Scott Cunningham while touring vendors in North Carolina. Mike came to find that Scott’s employer (a thin stone veneer provider) was closing the doors on his location. Uprooting his family to follow his company was never an option, but Scott upheld his commitment to his former employer until November 30th. Without even taking a day off, he started as Buechel Stone’s Plant Manager on December 1st. We all know that life is fleeting. And for Scott, family is everything. It was a win-win for both of us.
